Understory Alliance is turning 3 this May 1 —
Hauʻoli Lā Hānau to all of us who've helped it grow.
You are invited to help our birthday wishes come true! Donate this month and be entered into a drawing to receive a Koʻokoʻolau plant.*
Your gift helps us keep growing plants in our nursery, cultivating community forest gardens, creating hands-on learning, and restoring connection to our ʻāina.

Here's how our Birthday Drawing works:
Donate $10 or more anytime between May 1 and May 31, 2025.*
Each $10 donation = 1 entry in our drawing.
On June 1, we will randomly select 10 people to receive a Koʻokoʻolau plant — grown with care in our nursery.
Plants will be ready for pickup on June 8 at our Wailua Homesteads Park volunteer workday.
Our gift back to you is a plant that nourishes people, pollinators, and place.
