Every workday, people come to the māla and spend a few hours planting, mulching, pruning, and working together to care for the garden. Come once or come every month.

Fill out the waiver before you arrive if you can. It saves time. In-person waivers are also available. You only need to fill it out once unless your information changes.

We'll see you at the māla.

What to Expect

Every workday is a little different. You might plant, lay cardboard and mulch, prune, gather plant materials, or help remove invasive species. No experience needed. We learn by doing, together.

What to Bring

  • Water bottle (there is a refill station)

  • A snack

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • Clothes and shoes that can get dirty
